ADMISSION AGREEMENT

Admission Agreement is an executed conformity and understanding by the parent, legal guardian, and student bounded by the terms and conditions set by the Institution.

All academic Departments must have terms of agreement before accepting learners bounded by the Institutional background, rules, and guidelines.

Company/Institutional Background

The Dominican College of Tarlac (DCT) is a non-stock, non-profit organization (meaning, 70% salary, 20% Development and Maintenance, and 10% contingency fund) founded by the late Rev. Fr. Mariano M. Sablay, Parish Priest of San Nicolas de Tolentino, Capas, Tarlac in 1946. As a Catholic Institution, DCT believes in the ultimate goal of education – the total formation of the human person that would lead him to attain the purpose of which it was created, namely: union with God, community with others, and harmony with creation. The Institution does not only pride itself of its increasing enrollment, but also of its accomplishments and achievements for the past years. Further, its sustained pursuit of excellence has provided its claim to become an Institution that develops quality graduates into servant leaders.

Policy Section

SCHOOL DECORUM

General policies and regulations on school decorum must be practiced at all times inside the campus, as stipulated in the Student Handbook. Violation of school policies and regulations will serve as grounds for sanction depending on the committed offense.

SAFETY AND SECURITY INTENSIFICATION

In ensuring the safety and security of all members of the DCT community, the Institution is asserting its authority in implementing safety, security and visitation protocols. This is in reference to Section 159 of DepEd Order No. 11, s. 2011, Campus Security. Only bonafide students of the school shall be allowed inside the school campus. Special considerations for the Pre-Elementary pupils to be accompanied by parents or guardians during the first week of classes may be granted.

PAYMENT REGULATIONS

Parents and students are compelled to regularly report or update their accounts in the Finance Office. In line with this are the guidelines in following the schedule for payment, releasing of permits, and executing promissory notes.

Goal

As we choose to step in and work together as one community, the goal of the Institution is to impart understanding on the school’s vision and mission to provide Catholic education that is inclusive to the community. This affirms its mission to develop individuals to become servant leaders that are conscious to their roles and social responsibilities.
